Privacy Policy

IDI Tutoring Academy LLC provides one-to-one and group online tutoring. This policy explains what we do with the information you give us through this website. If anything here is unclear, write to contact.iditutoring@gmail.com and we will explain it.

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, your email address, the subject you are asking about, the tutor you would prefer, the day and session that suit you, and your message.

That is the whole list. This website has no accounts, no passwords and no login. We do not ask for your address, your phone number, your date of birth or any payment details, and we have no way to collect them here.

To reply to you and arrange tutoring. We do not use your details for marketing, we do not build a profile of you, and we never sell or rent them to anyone.

The form sends your message as an email through Resend, our email delivery provider, and it arrives in the IDI inbox. It is not written to a database — this website stores nothing about you on its own servers.

Because the message arrives as ordinary email, it stays in our inbox until we delete it, and your email address is used as the reply address so we can answer you directly.

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no analytics. There are no tracking pixels, no tag manager and no social media trackers on any page.

Two things are stored, and both exist only to make the site work the way you left it. A cookie named NEXT_LOCALE remembers your language — it is created only if you actually switch language, not on a normal visit. A value named vite-ui-theme is kept in your browser's local storage to remember whether you chose light or dark mode. It never leaves your device.

The site's typeface is served from our own domain, so simply reading these pages sends no request to Google or any other font provider.

Netlify hosts the website. Like any web host, its servers keep standard access logs, which include IP addresses.

Resend delivers the contact form as email.

Zoom is the platform we use for the classes themselves. Once a session starts, Zoom's own privacy terms apply to what happens inside the call.

We use no other third-party service on this website.

Much of our tutoring is for school-age students. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before sending us your details, and give us a parent or guardian's email so we can arrange sessions with them.

[TO CONFIRM] Whether IDI accepts students under 13, and what verifiable parental consent is collected before doing so. In the United States this is governed by COPPA and the answer changes what this section must say. This needs a lawyer, not a developer.

[TO CONFIRM] How long enquiry emails are kept before deletion, and whether the inbox is cleared on a schedule. Until IDI sets a retention period, messages stay in the inbox indefinitely.

Write to contact.iditutoring@gmail.com and you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because everything we hold is email, deleting it is straightforward and we will confirm when it is done.

[TO CONFIRM] Whether IDI needs to address specific regimes such as the CCPA, or the GDPR for students contacting us from outside the United States.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
